Jo Ruxton

Producer/Director

Jo spent 12 years at the BBC Natural History Unit (NHU) specialising in the production of underwater wildlife documentaries including the celebrated Blue Planet, Deep Trouble, Smart Sharks and Pacific Abyss. She was a key member of the NHU’s Dive Team and recently established her own underwater media company, Media Dive Crews. Having witnessed the plastic pollution problem in so many locations around the world, both topside and underwater, she brought together the perfect team to make this most important documentary a success.

Lizzie Bewick

Producer/Director

Lizzie’s 20-year career with the BBC’s world-renowned Natural History Unit spans presenter- and celebrity-led series, such as the hugely popular Big Cat Live, Big Cat Diary and Saving Planet Earth. She has also produced many documentaries for the BBC’s leading wildlife strands: Wildlife on One and The Natural World, as well as the groundbreaking Chimp Week, Wild Battlefields – Wolf and Talking with Animals

Adaire Osbaldeston

Production Manager

Adaire has had over 25 years experience in prime-time television. Her career began at the BBC in Production Management and Research working on acclaimed series Great Railway Journeys of the World, and In Search of the Trojan War. She was Assistant Producer for the BBC’s Natural History Unit on The First Eden with David Attenborough and Producer of numerous natural history productions for BBC Worldwide. She has produced and production managed programmes on Natural History, Travel and History for DISCOVERY US, Animal Planet and European Broadcasters ARTE, ORF AND ZDF
